Rivok — Real-Time .io Strategy
Rivok is a free .io strategy game — real-time territory conquest, straight in your browser. Take one spot on a pixel world map, push the strength slider, click a neighbour, and your wave rolls out across the tiles. Up to 100 players and bots per match, 5–10 minutes per round, nothing to download and no account needed.
If you have played Territorial.io or OpenFront, you will be up to speed in about ten seconds. Rivok keeps that one-click conquest loop and builds a full modern war on top of it — navy, air power, missiles, clans.
How a match plays
Left-click a neighbouring territory to attack. The slider decides how much of your army commits. Everything past that is optional depth you can pick up at your own pace.
Doctrines — pick one of four before the match starts:
- Assault — strong attack pressure, softer defence
- Hold — tough territory, slightly less pressure
- Recon — balanced
- Siege — faster troop growth
Ten structures, paid for out of the points your territory earns:
- FOB — raises troop growth
- City — raises your troop cap
- Industry — raises point income
- Harbor — built on the coast; two or more on the same sea open trade routes for extra income
- Bunker — multiplies defence in a radius, stacks up to three deep
- Artillery — cuts your conquest cost in a radius, stacks up to three deep
- Airport — unlocks airstrikes: destroys buildings and troops in a radius, captures nothing
- Airbase — unlocks paratroopers: captures ground from the air at limited range
- SAM site — shoots down enemy aircraft, missiles and paratrooper transports in a radius
- Missile silo — unlocks cruise missiles: global range, scorches the impact zone and leaves it ownerless and hard to retake
Boats carry troops across open water and land them on a distant coast. Airstrikes, paradrops and cruise missiles are all visible in flight and can be intercepted by SAM.
Maps
Every lobby runs either a procedurally generated map — land, mountains, forests and seas, never the same twice — or the real world map, rendered as a pixel grid.
Free, and fair
Rivok is free to play with no pay-to-win. Nothing you can buy makes your units stronger, your buildings cheaper or your growth faster. Whoever wins, played better.
